Age: wait, there should be less candles on this cake!

Astrological Sign: Libra

Profession: Rather than job, my hobbies are: Vintage dress up, swing dancing, costuming (Dances of Vice) fashion/Style photography and blogging (in the works).

Residence: Manhattan

Favorite color: Navy, burgundy, mustard, moss green

Favorite Fashion Designer: Karl Lagerfeld (esp. Chanel Couture 2004-05 Fall/Winter Collection and 2010 Resort Collection – the nautical pieces and the 20s tribute were divine); Peter Som (brilliant mixmaster of fabrics and patterns – his Spring 2010 Ready To Wear collection was my all-time favorite – sexy feminine 30s-inspired cruisewear. His strongest suit is interjecting flair in his matchups of luxurious and unusual fabrics with the end result: NEEDLIST not WISHLIST. I also love the black and white collection of Fall 2006 – especially the party frock with the frayed velvet bow that Scarlett Johansson wore to the NY premiere of the Scoop movie.)

Favorite Shoe/Accessories Designer: Cole Haan and Tricker’s (shoes); Elsa Schiaparelli, Behida Dolic and Pooka Queen (hats). I also applaud bag designers who recycle vintage feedsacks and use ticking stripes.

Favorite Parfum: Gucci Homme II, YSL pour homme

Favorite Stylish Film: Talented Mr. Ripley, Cheri

Favorite Hangout: Highline and Washington Square Park

Favorite Place/s: Dry Tortugas off of Key West, Frenchmen Street in New Orleans.

Favorite Cocktail: Ginger Martini

Who is your style icon? Audrey Hepburn

What item of clothing would you rather starve for? An 18th Century French silk coat or jacket with extremely intricate floral embroidery and twill lining. Military/nautical elements a plus; rare Gaucho cropped gabardine jackets with unique details, such as fabric-buttons, two-tones and pockets.

What is your overall impression of how people dress in general? Following the masses, letting designers dictate what they should be wearing. But occasionally you do see an inspiring standout with a very distinct point of view.

And what do you recommend that they do otherwise? Break some rules and from the norm and have fun with fashion. For example, do unexpected pairings of colors or patterns.
