PICTURE: #7 IN TEN ACTS
SPECIAL GUEST INTERVIEW:
GREGORY DELLICARPINI Jr. TALKS ABOUT HIS 7th OUTFIT
What items did you use to compose this particular outfit?
A black leather jacket by Rodarte
Blue Reiss pants
Brown Cole Haan boots,
My favorite part of this look, a white Kelly Kapowski print T-shirt from Urban Outfitters.
How did you arrive at the decision to compose such an outfit?
I honestly have no idea how I arrived at this look. I think I was feeling a bit James Dean this day and just really wanted to rock the Kelly Kapowski T-shirt I just bought. I love this T-shirt, who doesn’t love Ms. Kapowski and some Saved By The Bell?
Did you compose this outfit spontaneously or was it planned ahead of time?
Really not planned at all. Honestly, I just wanted to wear the T-shirt.
On a scale of 10, how pleased are you with this composition/outfit?
9, I love the way the black Rodarte jacket looks with the blue pants and pinks in the shirt. This is me really doing color. This is probably one of my most colorful looks. Thanks to Kelly and the lovely creators at Urban Outfitters.
What roles do color, the fit, and integrity of fabric play in this particular outfit?
Color plays large role in this look. The bright pinks and electric blues dance freely together while all being governed by the black leather jacket.
How soon would you repeat/wear this same outfit again?
I would sleep in this T-shirt and wear it everywhere. In fact, I like it so much I actually bought 2. But let’s just keep that between us.
There is perhaps a spiritual, emotional, intellectual or psychological aspect to what/how we dress. What is your personal experience in relation to this outfit?
Whenever I put on a leather jacket I always feel a bit more bad-ass then I did before. It becomes this great confidence booster. What would an all leather look do I wonder…?
