special guest/ MONTGOMERY FRAZIER talks about his 6th OUTFIT: 6 in 9 acts

What items did you use to compose this particular outfit?
Roadster cap by Christy’s Crown Series

Mustard boiled wool pea coat and geometric patterned cable knit turtleneck sweater by Joe Fresh
Pinstriped slacks by Prada
Polka dot tote bag by Jack Spade
Sunglasses by Polo Ralph Lauren
Shoes by Cole Haan
Silver and black diamond ring by David Yurman

How did you arrive at the decision to compose such an outfit?
Gatsby out for a stroll in the city…That was the inspiration for this ensemble.

Did you compose this outfit spontaneously or was it planned ahead of time?
This aesthetic comes from my inherent sense of style self….colors, patterns and the silhouette in a thematic context.

On a scale of 10, how pleased are you with this composition/outfit?
This to me is undoubtedly a 9….in my minds eye….

What roles do color, the fit, and integrity of fabric play in this particular outfit?
The contrast between mustard and burgundy is such a fashion viewpoint….not commonly paired together by the masses…and the geometric design sweater with the pinstripes gives it a conservatively radical edge…

How soon would you repeat/wear this same outfit again?
Probably tomorrow…if it’s cold enough and I want to make a statement and need to be noticed at a public event….

There is perhaps a spiritual, emotional, intellectual or psychological aspect to the what/how we dress. What is your personal experience in relation to this outfit?
It’s just me….plain and simple…No over-thinking required…I am a Gatsby incarnate, with English ‘Carnaby Street’ flair.
