special guest/ VICTOR de SOUZA talks about his 7th OUTFIT: 7 in 14 acts

What items did you use to compose this particular outfit?
Fitted stretch wool jacket, Uniclo.
Tuxedo book shirt, Victor de Souza.
Wool plaid Slacks, Tallia
Vintage two toned tuxedo shoes.

How did you arrive at the decision to compose such an outfit?
I first fell in love with the slacks due to the relaxed and flattering look and shape. I was interested for an urbane black tie outfit.

Did you compose this outfit spontaneously or was it planned ahead of time?
This look was planned due to the fact that I wanted to incorporate my own design into something casual, fun and stylish.

On a scale of 10, how pleased are you with this composition/outfit?

What roles do color, the fit, and integrity of fabric play in this particular outfit?
The color was the main inspiration. The elements of the charcoal tone are found in the slacks, blazer and detailing in the shoes.

How soon would you repeat/wear this same outfit again?
This is a look I really enjoy and speaks to my personal style. I would wear this look repeatedly but will only save it for special occasions.

There is perhaps a spiritual, emotional, intellectual or psychological aspect to the what/how we dress. What is your personal experience in relation to this outfit?
I would like to say this is an intellectual outfit being that I found a way to incorporate one of my very own pieces into a casual manner. I feel it adds interest being that it is formal yet casual all at the same time with use of fabric and pattern.

Quite an elegant look. I love the interplay of the plaid with the outfit colors.
