special guest/PAT CLEVELAND: talks about her 7th outfit. #7 in ten acts

What items did you use to compose this particular outfit?
One rosy orange dress and one pair of shoes.

How did you arrive at the decision to compose such an outfit?
This is my Thursday color, any tone of this warm rosy orange envelops my senses—it is a sensuous fresh color for me.

Did you compose this outfit spontaneously or was it planned ahead of time?
Definitely planned, by the planets.

In a scale of 10, how pleased are you with this composition/ outfit?
Over the top, I give it a 10.

What roles do color, the fit and integrity of fabric play in this particular out fit?
Just think of the dyes it took from nature to create such a color, and the Silk is soft and lustrous, think of the integrity of the silk worms and weavers who made this fabric. OH MY!  I am grateful to be able to wear such a garment, and the work, which goes into designing such a fitted garment, Stephen Burrows, is a genius!  The drape and the cut are perfect for me.

How soon would you repeat/wear this same outfit again?
When ever a beautiful Thursday rolls around, and the occasion calls for it to go to a lunch, cocktail party or dinner.

Personally I firmly believe that there is a spiritual, emotional, intellectual or psychological aspect to what/how we dress.  What is your personal experience in relation to this outfit?
Personally, I realize that quality is the key to this garment, and for my public life. I am motivated to take on certain challenges, when I am well dressed. I feel courageous, plus being well dressed gives me great joy…and what can be better than feeling happy.  Since I was a child, dressing well always meant that something very special was about to happen, like a party or an Easter egg hunt, or even singing in a Church, I feel excited when I wear this dress because I know something lovely is about to happen.

Just when you thought she could not get any more incredible, this Louise Brooks bob comes out of nowhere! And that burst of trademark-bright Burrows! Why, WHY?? is this woman not working for a major campaign? And is it just me but wouldn’t some smart fashion house or their hanger-on-of-a-publicity-machine hire both Pat and her daughter Anna to work an ad campaign. They represent the dilemma of all closely-knit modern mothers and daughters–they look like the most out-of-this-world twins–accomplished, the world should be aware, sans surgery . . . They are a model model model.
We’re seven extraordinary looks in to this index and I can’t fathom what lies in store.
11’s ACROSS THE BOARD for Pat and Ike.

Wow! What this lady could teach the present crop of models about CLASS! Would like to see more of her. She guested on America’s Top Model one. Wish they would bring her back.
