What items did you use to compose this particular out fit?
One zip back dress, one pair of YSL shoes, one diamond ring for shine.
How did you arrive at the decision to compose such an out fit?
This outfit seems to have chosen me really. It is perfect as is.
Did you compose this outfit spontaneously or was it planned ahead of time?
I had moments to decide what to wear, I had many events to attend ” Fashion Night Out,” so this dress seemed to embrace the moment… when Zac Posen said pick a dress, this one spoke to me, it seemed alive even on the hanger.
In a scale of 10, how pleased are you with this composition/ outfit?
Wrapped without a doubt beyond a 10.
What roles do color, the fit and integrity of fabric play in this particular out fit?
There are many layers of definition to this fitted dress, the corseted bodice with its pelted wrapped sash effect is brilliantly arranged to give it a couture feel, the straight yet flared effect caused by the free draped flag at the front of the black pencil shaped body with its cadmium red backing, of maroon stretch satin charmeuse gives movement at the bottom of the dress, a well conceived design by Zac Posen.
How soon would you repeat/wear this same outfit again?
Once in a season for the love of it, for special nights out only.
Personally I firmly believe that there is a spiritual, emotional, intellectual or psychological aspect to what/how we dress. What is your personal experience in relation to this outfit?
If something is well done, then there is no stress. Just knowing how beautifully this dress is designed gives me satisfaction… It is like being in a living space which is well planned… a place of peace… to know what it is like to wear such a dress is an experience in itself … life is experience… lucky me… I have the experience of wearing such dress.
