SPECIAL GUEST INTERVIEW:
ROBERT VERDI
TALKS ABOUT HIS 12th OUTFIT

What items did you use to compose this particular outfit?
Suit – Etro
Shirt – Etro
Tie – Shanghai Tang
Glasses – Vintage Porsche
Shoes – Yves Saint Laurent
Watch – Brera Orolo

How did you arrive at the decision to compose such an outfit?
I like how the color and pattern interlay with each other particularly when in certain silhouettes, like a suit and shirt. This outfit has an overall sense of humor and a sense of tension between the pieces.

Did you compose this outfit spontaneously or was it planned ahead of time?
I just took the pants and held them up near shirts until I found one that I thought looked good with it. So it is somewhat spontaneous.

In a scale of 10, how pleased are you with this composition/outfit?
9.5

What roles do color, the fit, and integrity of fabric play in this particular outfit?
The suit is a particular favorite of mine because the humorous detail, being polka dotted is so subtle. It allows me to keep my own style alive even when I am dressed conservatively. I also happen to like the fit, its very traditional and very slimming.

How soon would you repeat/wear this same outfit again?
Never.
